Originally founded by Ted Stiles and Ben Carter, the firm’s current shareholders are Chris Cater, Scott Kisselbaugh, and Brian Woosley. Ours is the largest accounting firm in the area, with a staff of more than 35, including 12 Certified Public Accountants.

Our Founders

Theodore C. Stiles, CPA
Ted has over 40 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from Bellarmine College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Ted has financial accounting and auditing, taxation, and management consulting experience, and was formerly associated with the national accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. In addition to serving on several professional committees, he served three years as a director on the board of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ted is past president of the Elizabethtown Chamber of Commerce. He is a past president and an active Rotarian. He is also a director emeritus member of the Central Kentucky Community Foundation. A Hardin County native, he resides in Elizabethtown with his wife.

Ben E. Carter, CPA
Ben has over 40 years of public accounting experience and is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs. Ben’s experience includes tax, financial accounting, auditing and management consulting, and he has previously worked for the national accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. He has served as chairman of the Kentucky Society of CPAs insurance committee and was a former member of the Board of Directors at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He also has served as an officer and a committee member of his church, and has been involved with various civic organizations in the Elizabethtown/Hardin County area. Ben is a native of Tompkinsville, Ky., and has been a resident of Hardin County since 1974 with his wife.
